A law firm seeks a highly qualified mid-level associate to join their Intellectual Property Transactions & Strategies group in Boston. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in technology and intellectual property licensing, as well as IP support in M&A and other corporate transactions.

• Draft and negotiate joint development, collaboration, and strategic alliance agreements.
• Handle technology and intellectual property licenses and services agreements.
• Manage distribution agreements, including OEM and VAR agreements.
• Conduct intellectual property and technology due diligence in corporate transactions.

• Outstanding academic credentials.
• Comparable law firm experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Relevant bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly.
• Deal sheet required.

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

• Bar admission in relevant jurisdiction.

• Experience with open-source software license terms.
• Knowledge of intellectual property issues in artificial intelligence technology.
