Foreign Trade Zone Coordinator – US
Boston Based 3 days a week
OBJECTIVEThe Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) Coordinator supports the US Customs Compliance team in the daily operation of Primark’s Foreign Trade Zones. Reporting to the Senior FTZ Manager, the role is responsible for administrative duties related to operating Primark’s FTZ sites, including daily processing, filing of daily e214s, weekly estimates, weekly entry summaries, AES/EEI, CF7512s, arrival of inbonds, MDRs and other areas of FTZ daily management.
The coordinator also coordinates with third‑party business partners (customs brokers, 3PLs, FTZ software teams) and participates in functions such as tariff classification, customs valuation, country‑of‑origin marking, audit, and Partner Government Agency (PGA) reporting.
- Support FTZ administration and operational tasks, including export formalities for Primark’s FTZs.
- Assist the Senior FTZ Manager in maintaining the FTZ operations manual.
- Prepare FTZ filings related to import and export (daily e214 admissions, weekly CF3461 estimates, weekly CF7501 entries, EEI/AES, CF7512, etc.).
- Prepare and submit quarterly HMF payment.
- Manage inventory matters related to FTZ (overages, shortages, inventory balance, MDRs).
- Maintain records in accordance with customs regulations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Supply Chain, Sourcing/Buying & Merchandising, Finance, etc.).
- Support continuous improvement of FTZ operational practices.
- Assist with Partner Government Agency reporting (CPSC eFiling, FDA, Fish & Wildlife, USDA, TSCA, etc.).
- Support preparation of annual FTZ reports (Annual FTZB Report, Annual Reconciliation, etc.).
- Provide general reporting support.
- Participate in other compliance projects as assigned by senior management.
- Undergraduate degree required.
- Licensed Customs Broker preferred.
- 2+ years of US customs compliance experience, including knowledge of CFR Title 19 and tariff classification preferred.

Pay range: $66,000 – $99,000.
