JSM Airport Services is seeking a highly motivated Parts Technician at Boston Logan International Airport (BOS). This is a career-track opportunity, and we are looking for an individual ready to commit to a long‑term professional future with our company, starting with an expected commitment of 1 year or more
. The Parts Technician is a hands‑on role responsible for maintaining the customer’s spare parts inventory to ensure maintenance technicians have timely access to the parts needed to complete repairs. This position supports the Inventory Parts Coordinator/Site Manager by helping keep inventory levels accurate and appropriately stocked to maximize maintenance efficiency. The Parts Technician also provides day‑to‑day support to maintenance technicians and other operational functions as needed.

Starting at $25.00 (Depending on Experience)
Must be able to work as scheduled (this is a 24‑hour, seven‑day‑a‑week operation). Holidays will be included if they fall on a scheduled workday. Shift assignments are based on the airport and company requirements, as well as a technician's strengths, skill set, and experience. Our technicians are expected to be flexible in terms of prospective shift assignments.

- Record and update inventory usage of supplies and parts through EAMS Hexagon/CMMS
- Ensure that EAMS Hexagon/CMMS Work Order information and reports contain the correct and most current pricing and parts descriptions
- Maintain spare parts inventory; ensuring all parts are identified and readily available in secure locations
- Maintain the parts storage rooms and the disposal of used parts, as pre‑approved by JSM/HAS
- Ensure and coordinate the timely reconditioning of those items warranting refurbishment and reconditioning, versus replacement, as approved by JSM/HAS
- Submit proper documentation to the Project Accountant for cycle billing to JSM Parts Coordinator
- Conduct, document, and complete a full inventory of all spare parts on a routine basis per contract requirements
- Receive parts at the dock, warehouse, baggage claim, and/or escort through security gate as necessary
- Hold or be able to obtain a forklift operator certification
- Ensure adequate parts are in stock or readily available, quantities are sufficient, and proper parts are available for all applications
- Assist Inventory Parts Coordinator to oversee inventory accuracy and ensure labor and materials are correctly entered into EAMS Hexagon/CMMS system
- Perform as a purchasing agent and assist the Inventory Parts Coordinator, as needed
- Follow the materials and parts usage procedure from work orders to update inventory
- Ensure that all major equipment and systems listed, and identified, in the EAMS Hexagon/CMMS database have the correct OEM replacement parts and approved alternate parts listed
- Conduct Cycle Counts per the Inventory Control schedule
- Process and track parts warranty claims.
- Procure parts needed to maintain company vehicles.
- Assist in periodic reviews of the parts inventory regarding the following:
- Changes in the Min/Max levels
- Additions or deletions of inventory based on usage
- Installed systems, equipment
- Part led times
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Safety and compliance training as required
- Perform other reasonable ancillary duties to support the operation and our customer
- High School Graduate or General Educational Development (GED)
- Some post high school education or training
- Must be able to read, speak, and understand English
- 1(+) year of experience in inventory or warehouse
- 1(+) year of experience in parts procurement - preferred, but not required
