Your Responsibilities
- Responsible for global clinical and commercial supply continuity and risk management processes, owning and assessing supply chain plans and inventories.
- Drive and lead cross-functional partnerships with Quality, Regulatory, Technical, and Clinical partners.
- Collaborate with Clinical Operations to forecast initial and ongoing clinical drug supply needs and demand assumptions (enrollment rates, number of sites, number of countries) and ensure successful start-up and distribution to clinical sites.
- Lead Integrated Business Process (IBP) to monitor clinical and commercial demand and plan supply accordingly.
- Plan and implement clinical and commercial supply chain activities (customs clearance, cost management, storage, warehousing, distribution, procurement, logistics, forecast, inventory control, data management, production planning).
- Ensure commercial product inventory availability and maintain inventory at minimum acceptable levels using risk-based supply chain review.
- Coordinate with Third Party Logistics/Finance/Accounting for invoices and inventory carrying costs.
- Manage and maintain commercial serialization across all territories.
- Partner with Quality Assurance for global acceptance of clinical & commercial material and compliance across supply chain.
- Develop and oversee SOPs and processes for global supply chain.
- Develop plans for packaging/labeling, shipping authorization, import/export licenses, and cold chain distribution to ensure continuity of supply.
- Coordinate artwork and packaging design for printed components with external suppliers.
- Manage relationships with distribution partners for clinical and commercial material.
- Support cross-functional team development of EAP/PTA strategy across indications and territories.
- Manage budget, contractual obligations, purchase orders, and invoices for supply chain.
- Minimum 12 years’ experience in clinical and/or commercial manufacturing, supply chain, and logistics in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmaceutics, Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology Engineering, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Biology.
- 20% national/international travel.
- Commercial pharmaceutical manufacturing, supply chain, and logistics experience.
- Experience managing/interacting with Third Party Logistics, client services, wholesale/retail warehouses, customers, vendors, finance, and accounting.
- Supply chain data analysis experience.
- ERP experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Boston, MA; flexible hybrid model (minimum 2 days/week in office).
