A rapidly growing advanced manufacturing company combining additive manufacturing, precision machining, and digital infrastructure to deliver end-to-end production solutions for aerospace, defense, medical, and other critical industries.

Role Overview

The Global Supply Manager will lead sourcing strategy and strategic supplier management for high-value, technically complex categories critical to production. This role partners closely with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and senior leadership to develop sourcing strategies, negotiate commercial agreements, strengthen supplier relationships, and manage supply-chain risks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute multi-year sourcing strategies, cost roadmaps, and supplier plans.
  • Lead complex negotiations covering pricing, capacity, lead times, and long-term supply agreements.
  • Manage strategic and executive-level supplier relationships.
  • Drive improvements in supplier quality, cost, delivery, capacity, and performance
    .
  • Partner with Engineering and Operations to translate technical and production requirements into sourcing strategies.
  • Identify and mitigate supplier, capacity, cost, and continuity risks.
  • Lead cross-functional supplier initiatives and mentor junior Global Supply Managers.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or technical degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
  • Proven experience managing strategic suppliers in a global manufacturing environment
    .
  • Strong experience negotiating complex commercial agreements and long-term supply arrangements.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in supplier development, qualification, performance management, and risk assessment.
  • Understanding of cost structures for machined, cast, or fabricated components
    .
  • Track record of delivering cost savings, lead-time reductions, and supplier-performance improvements.
  • Experience in a startup, high-growth, or scaling manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in aerospace, defense, medical device, or other highly regulated industries
    .
