Hourly Wage

ISS offers full‑time employees a variety of benefits including medical, dental, life and disability insurance, as well as a comprehensive leave program based on employment status. The hourly pay range for this position is $19.00 per hour - $22.00 per hour.

Work Hours

The work hours for this position are Mon‑Fri, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm.

Key Purpose

The Mailroom & Events Attendant plays a key role in ensuring smooth operations across mailroom, shipping, and events functions. This position handles a range of tasks including receiving, sorting, and delivering mail across various buildings, managing shipping and receiving duties, and providing courier services. Beyond mailroom responsibilities, this role also involves setting up and breaking down event spaces for meetings, conferences, and other business‑related events, ensuring that all events run seamlessly.

  • High School diploma or equivalent, 1+ years of experience in a relevant field preferred: dock or shipping/receiving or mail center
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office functions (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of basic mathematics and general office practices
  • Ability to determine work priorities
Key Accountabilities
  • Inspect all received packages according to safety standards
  • Ship packages (including international shipments)
  • Receive daily deliveries from UPS, Fed Ex Express, Fed Ex Ground and any other courier drop‑offs
  • Supply inventory management
  • Check inbound packages into Web‑Based Tracking System
  • Sort and separate packages by assigned building
  • Receive, check‑in, and document incoming pallet shipments
  • Always keep loading dock and receiving area clean and organized
  • Deliver packages/materials/mail
  • Assist with package/mail distributions and collections
  • A strong commitment to company service values

  • Stock conference room supplies
  • Event space set up, cleaning, servicing, organizing, and break down

Physical Demands & Work Environment
  • Work up to 8 hours a day on your feet, excluding breaks
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
  • Come to work properly dressed according to the dress code
  • Must be able to work under pressure and time deadlines during peak periods
  • For California employees, suitable seating is available for this position
