PORTER FOR IMMEDIATE HIRE IN LUXURY RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY AT BOSTON, MA Position Overview

The Porter is responsible for keeping the property clean, minor maintenance and landscaping, making sure the property is in good standing. The primary goal of this position is to provide attention to the appearance of common areas for a safe and adequate living/working environment.

• Experience sweeping, mopping, washing and waxing hallways, floors and stairs.
• Experience vacuuming and using floor polishers.
• Knowledge in janitorial duties and small repairs.
• Experience in emptying compactors and trash cans.
• Experience in clearing snow and ice from sidewalks and driveways.
• Keeping good relations with resident owners, tenants and staff.
• Must be extremely detail oriented.
• Self-motivated and proactive.

You will be the face of our company inside these residential buildings, representing our brand and clients properly will be very important. Someone who represents who we are will posses qualities such as being friendly and approachable, an upbeat attitude, reliable, great customer service skills, communication skills, and organization skills. This person will also carry themselves in a professional manner both inside and out.

This position is an entry level position, so no porter experience is necessary, however we do look for proven customer service experience, and of course experience in this field is always a plus! Our company is constantly growing and acquiring new partnerships, and in doing so are looking for candidates willing to grow with us!
