About the RoleCBRE is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support a state‑of‑the‑art Pharmaceutical Research & Development facility. This role is ideal for professionals with hands‑on experience in building systems and industrial equipment maintenance. Competitive Compensation & BenefitsFull Time Day Shift 7:00-3:30. Competitive pay: $27.00‑$34.00 per hour. Benefits start 1st of the month and include medical, dental, vision, PTO, 401(k), etc. Internal advancement available after 6‑month mark.
What You’ll Do- Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
- Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose problems, and make repairs.
- Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
- Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion.
- Support energy management by ensuring all building systems run efficiently.
- Inspect installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
- Apply existing procedures to solve straightforward problems and communicate clearly.
- Impact team through defined duties in a detailed manner.
- Deliver output by following defined procedures and processes under supervision and guidance.
- High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1‑2 years of job‑related experience, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Meet physical requirements: stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting/carrying heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
- Ability to follow basic work routines and standards.
- Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
- Currently authorized to work in the United States without need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
