The Director of Engineering is a skilled leader with technical expertise in engineering and maintenance.

• Leadership and Supervision:
  
  Direct and supervise the Maintenance staff, overseeing the maintenance of buildings and grounds.
• Technical Expertise:
  Apply extensive experience in engineering, maintenance and related fields to ensure efficient operations.
• Problem-Solving and Decision Making:
  Evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately, handling problems effectively in high-pressure situations.
• Communication
  
  Skills:
  
  Convey information and ideas clearly and effectively listen to and understand issues raised by co-workers and guests.
• Financial Acumen:
  Work with and understand financial information and data, including basic arithmetic functions to support maintenance operations.
• Project Management:
  
  Develop and implement policies and procedures for maintenance requests, schedule maintenance and ensure compliance with regulations.

• Bachelor'sdegreeandatleast5yearsofexperienceinarelatedfield,includingpriormanagementexperience.
• Experienceinahotelorrelatedfieldisrequired,withatradelicensepreferred.
