About the Position

The company is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead medium- and large-scale mechanical HVAC and plumbing projects from inception through closeout. This role is responsible for managing personnel, schedules, budgets, and client relationships while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

The Project Manager will be supported with the resources, tools, and leadership needed to grow within the organization.

This role offers the opportunity to expand project scope and complexity and to help implement cutting-edge mechanical construction methodologies and technologies.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Managing mechanical HVAC and plumbing projects from preconstruction through final closeout
  • Leading and coordinating field personnel, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Developing and maintaining detailed project schedules, budgets, and manpower plans
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for owners, general contractors, and design teams
  • Reviewing drawings, specifications, and contract documents
  • Managing change orders, cost controls, and project documentation
  • Ensuring compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and company procedures
  • Identifying risks and proactively resolving issues to ensure successful project delivery
  • Supporting innovation and the adoption of new construction technologies and best practices
Requirements
  • Education:
    Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; significant HVAC or plumbing trade experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Experience: 5+ years of Project Management experience with a commercial mechanical subcontractor
  • Project Experience:
    Hospitals, universities, pharmaceutical and biotech facilities, manufacturing, large residential, office, and retail projects
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of HVAC and plumbing systems, including complex mechanical installations
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead project teams, manage schedules and budgets, and drive accountability
