- Lead, build, and manage a high‑performing Medical Affairs team within the US region.
- Foster relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare providers, regulatory authorities, and patient advocacy groups to build trust, credibility, and awareness around the upcoming product.

- Provide strategic direction and oversight for US Investigator‑Initiated Trials (IITs), ensuring alignment with corporate and global medical strategies. Partner with the global IIT working group to shape research priorities and strengthen the integration of US initiatives within the global evidence‑generation framework.
- Provide medical insights to inform evidence generation activities, including observational studies, registries, and real‑world data initiatives, to demonstrate value and support market acceptance.
- Ensure all medical activities are conducted in compliance with applicable regulations, industry standards, and ethical guidelines.
- Represent the company at scientific conferences, advisory boards, and industry forums, actively positioning Bicara as a credible scientific partner ahead of product launch.
- Stay abreast of advances in the external medical landscape, competitive developments, and clinical trial outcomes to strategically position Bicara’s interests.
- Advanced degree required: MD (strongly preferred), PhD, or PharmD
- Minimum 15 years of medical affairs experience in biopharma, including leadership of launch‑stage assets
- Familiarity with oncology is advantageous
- Clinical or research expertise in oncology or rare diseases preferred
- History of building trusted KOL networks and influencing scientific communities across multiple regions
