Epic Beaker AP Project Manager
Our client is seeking an Epic Beaker AP Project Manager to support a large-scale clinical systems initiative through high-volume user access management and security operations. This role will play a key part in ensuring accurate, timely provisioning and support throughout a multi-phase laboratory application deployment.
This role is a hybrid model in Boston, Massachusetts. Applicants located on the East Coast are preferred and will be required to work onsite around once a month.
Epic Beaker AP Project Manager Responsibilities- Lead and support implementation efforts for the Epic Beaker AP (Anatomic Pathology) module, including build, validation, and stabilization activities.
- Provision, modify, and deactivate Epic user access in alignment with established security policies and governance standards.
- Manage a high volume of Service Now requests related to new user onboarding, role transitions, and offboarding.
- Triage, troubleshoot, and resolve access and security issues, escalating complex or high-risk items as needed.
- Partner with project leadership, laboratory stakeholders, and technical teams to support application readiness and deployment milestones.
- Ensure accurate role‑based access throughout testing, go‑live, and post‑implementation phases.
- Maintain thorough documentation, audit trails, and compliance records for all security and access‑related activities.
- Strong hands‑on experience implementing the Epic Beaker AP (Anatomic Pathology) module in a clinical or laboratory setting.
- Demonstrated project management experience, including coordinating work streams, managing deliverables, and supporting implementation timelines.
- Epic Security certification with 3–5 years of experience managing Epic user access and security workflows.
- Proven experience supporting large user populations in fast-paced, ticket-driven environments.
- Working knowledge of Service Now or similar IT service management platforms.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders in regulated healthcare or clinical environments.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining compliance and accuracy.
- Associate’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
