* Job Summary:

** The Assistant Vice Chancellor of Experiential Partnerships Development (AVCEPD) provides strategic leadership for Northeastern University's comprehensive employer partnership ecosystem, driving business development and relationship management that connects industry partners with students across the full academic-to-career continuum. Oversees development of new co-op opportunities, internships, full-time hiring pipelines, and innovative experiential projects embedded in curriculum, ensuring alignment with university priorities, academic programs, and evolving workforce needs.

Manages three critical functions: the Employer Partnerships Development team, focused on cultivating entirely new relationships with high-growth companies in priority industries; the Director of Employer Relations, responsible for internship and full-time placement opportunities; and the Director of Experiential Projects, who leads a team sourcing industry-sponsored projects for faculty and coursework integration.

* Minimum Qualification:

** Knowledge and skills required for this position are typically acquired through the completion of a Bachelor’s degree or higher with 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in employer relations, business development, or strategic partnerships.
* Demonstrated success building and managing high-performing teams with clear accountability for measurable outcomes
* Proven track record developing new business relationships and managing complex, multi-stakeholder partnerships
* Strong understanding of experiential learning models, co-op programs, and career development in higher education
* Exceptional relationship management skills with ability to engage C-suite executives and senior leaders
* Data-driven decision maker with experience using analytics to inform strategy and measure impact
* Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
* Knowledge of diverse industry sectors and workforce trends across multiple market
** Key Accountabilities & responsibilities :

* 1)  Partnership Development and Team Management
*** Develop and oversee a robust partner prospecting and partnership development pipeline with a pathway to greater engagement opportunities.
* Consistently set, manage and monitor partnership development targets to ensure that the university can generate the amount and type of student opportunities to support the university leadership strategy and goals.
* Develop and oversee the technology strategy for industry leads to identify prospective partners and successfully convert them to key accounts.
* Develop and manage a team of 7 direct reports working to prospect new industry partnerships.

* 2)  Relationship Management
*** Create a cohesive co-op account management system, including branded marketing materials, that clearly defines how employers can work with and participate in the co-op program, and additional experiential opportunities and talent pathways.
* Work with other Northeastern teams, including faculty, Alumni Relations, Advancement, and the co-op teams, to ensure that employers maximize their experiences across the Northeastern talent acquisition landscape.
* Enhance overall internal collaborations with university colleagues across the Northeastern global network to serve students and employer partners robustly.

* 3)  Data and Analytics
*** Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of employer partnerships, such as the number of co-op positions secured, student placement rates and satisfaction, and employer retention and growth.
