Our established financial client is seeking an experienced Agile-focused Project Manager, ideally with experience working in a Project Management Office or related roles. Candidates who are Scrum Masters and/or PMP certified are ideal.

This Project Manager is part of the Content Governance team within the Marketing organization, partnering with other team members, including Product Owners that oversee work for key areas such as DAM management (Digital Asset Management).

Perform Line support – a SaaS solution that uses rules to ensure the organization adheres to brand and regulatory guidelines. Plus support for an internal tool that helps update and regulate high-volume documents.

This Project Manager will ensure all team members are aligned and up-to-date on what's needed, acting as the central point for managing and disseminating all team updates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and direct the completion of content governance projects, ensuring on-time delivery within budget.
  • Create actionable plans, partnering with the Product Manager and Project Owners.
  • Communicate with stakeholders and management about the project's status and progress.
Responsibilities
  • Monitor and track progress.
  • Communicate broadly.
  • Help ensure timelines are met.
  • Lead large-scale meetings.
  • Hold parties responsible for task completion.
Key Requirements
  • Strong Agile experience, specifically working with multiple Agile teams (not single-threaded teams).
  • Strong Jira skills.
  • Experience with Teams Planner and Workfront (helpful).
  • Self-starter, comfortable working with other groups or threads.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 7+ years of work experience with an emphasis on process improvement project management.
  • Certification and experience working and/or implementing Agile methodology and practices.
  • 5+ years of project and process management experience.
  • 3+ years of experience creating reports.
  • Advanced experience in Jira, MS Office (Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint) and Teams.
  • Superior oral and written communication skills, as well as the ability to manage expectations of the business, clients, team members, management, and external groups.
Desired Qualifications
  • Self-starter who thrives in an entrepreneurial setting, coupled with strong business acumen including a broad understanding of financial services business processes and practices.
  • Prior experience successfully leading and motivating teams in a matrix environment.
  • Experience working with QA for projects and an overall understanding of best practices.
  • Desire to work in an open, collaborative, and fast-paced environment.
