Senior Manager/Associate Director, Project Management

Boston, MA (Hybrid)

Fulltime

About Us

Damora Therapeutics is an innovative biotechnology company that aims to fundamentally redefine care for people with hematologic disorders. We are advancing a new generation of biologics to treat mutant calreticulin-driven myeloproliferative neoplasms, including essential thrombocythemia and myelofibrosis, where there is significant medical need for new disease-modifying treatments. With multiple programs with best-in-class potential on track to enter clinical development in 2026, our goal is to rapidly bring forward optimized treatments with broad mutation coverage and exceptional convenience to dramatically improve patient outcomes.

This is a unique opportunity to join a science-driven company at a formative stage, where early clinical data will directly shape development strategy and drive long-term value. The right candidate will join a team with significant early- and late-stage development experience, with the goal of quickly moving through dose escalation/expansion into pivotal trials.

The Role

We’re hiring a hands-on Senior Manager/Associate Director of Program Management to unite our nonclinical, manufacturing, and clinical functions as we bring our programs into first-in-human trials. You’ll partner closely with the Program Leader and cross functional team members to build the integrated development plan and program timelines, drive progress towards key deliverables, and ensure the cross-functional team is meeting its ambitious goals.

Day to day, you will make sure the team is communicating and collaborating effectively. You will keep a clear view of program priorities and risks to make sure action items are clearly documented and delegated. You will track progress and make sure the team has the necessary resources to be successful. Speed and execution will be critical, as these programs will quickly move from establishing clinical PoC to registrational trials and ultimately commercial launch.

This role reports to the VP, Program and Portfolio Strategy.

What You’ll Do
  • Work closely with the Program Leader to set program goals and convert them into detailed workplans and timelines
  • Track program milestones and update the integrated development plan to ensure timelines, assumptions, and risks are clear and visible.
  • Drive cross-functional coordination across research, clinical, regulatory, and CMC to foster clear roles, shared accountability, and disciplined communication.
  • Run productive meetings with clear agendas, documented decisions, and defined next steps.
  • Together with the Program Lead, serve as a central point of contact for senior leadership to make sure important updates are escalated and changes in strategy are clearly communicated back to the team.
  • Anticipate risks before they become obstacles and think about ways to mitigate.
  • Partner closely with Finance on budgets, forecasts, and resource planning.
  • Implement the right tools and processes to help the programs run efficiently.
  • Make sure program information is well-organized and accessible.
What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree and a solid understanding of science and medicine. Advanced degree a plus.
  • 5-7+ years of project/program management experience in biotech or pharma.
  • Clear understanding of drug development interdependencies and the ability to identify what is on critical path.
  • Strong communication skills, proactive problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with core program management tools (e.g., MS Project, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Planner, Smartsheets or similar platforms).
  • Able to work cross-functionally and in a fast-paced startup environment.
