Warehouse Operations Manager – Responsible for freight handling for our customers in Peabody, MA.

- Assume responsibility for good working practices, safety, and security for customer inventory.
- Develop, recommend and implement process and procedure improvements for service delivery.
- Provide customized solutions for customers in warehousing, inventory control & analysis, transportation, and technical support.
- Ensure KPI's of the product and meet budget targets.
- Supervise staff, including hiring, coaching, training and development.
- Assign work, set completion dates, review work, and manage performance per organizational policies.
- Collaborate with senior management to deliver strategic business results and build collaborative working relationships.
- Drive performance improvement through active management and use of CIP tools.
- Metric driven – drive team performance based on data.
- Shape and adjust workflows based on business needs.
- P/L responsibility for the business unit – control costs and implement cost improvement measures.
- Drive productivity improvement measures with teams.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective measures.
- Develop, maintain and implement local operating procedures and work instructions.
- Minimum 5 years in freight forwarding and operations experience.
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory or management experience.
- High School/GED; BA/BS preferred.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Good Distribution Practices (GDP) regulations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of DOT and Haz Mat regulations; familiarity with TSA, TAPA and C‑TPAT regulations.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Pay Range: $97,376.25 – $+ (Based on experience).
- Competitive base salary of $75,000–$100,000 plus role‑dependent performance‑based incentives.
- 401(k) match: $1‑for‑$1 match up to 4% quarterly + 2% annual base contribution.
