The Project Manager-Corporate Initiatives manages and runs various corporate initiatives for process improvement, technology implementation and data analysis. The Project Manager role is to partner with end users, stakeholders and sponsors to define a problem statement, develop a solution and manage the project’s overall budget and schedule health through the solution build and launch process. The Project Manager will apply change management techniques for a successful launch of the project.
Corporate Initiative Project Management and Implementation
- Meets with decision makers, system owners and end users to gather and define problem statements and develop solutions.
- Partners with IS team and developers to identify and establish scope and parameters of system solutions and effectively communicate expectations and timelines.
- Develops project schedule, manages project meetings, notes and actionable items. Forms relationships and follows up with project team members & strategic partners and identify blockers and strategies to overcome.
- Develops strategic relationships across departments to proactively get feedback, data or responses as required to advance a project forward.
- Manages project expectations as set by Director.
- Ensures projects are completed on time and within established quality standards and develop report outs to clients or project sponsors.
- Develops training curriculum, coordinates and leads training sessions.
- Tracks and measures projects success, collects feedback and recommends potential modifications.
- Receives, evaluates, gains approve for Standard Operating Procedures and Operations Manual updates.
- Assists in receiving, evaluating, tracking proposed initiatives through the Continuous Improvement Portal.
- Leads meetings, takes notes and follows up on deliverables for the Center of Excellence.
Change Management
- Leverages relationships within Shawmut to build momentum on driving adoption of new solutions.
- Actively participates in meetings, group and company-wide training and initiatives (e.g. initiatives to improve processes and systems, etc.) to support and promote the value to others of involvement and to further company goals.
- Ensures implemented standards are maintained and upheld in each initiative.
- Develops & executes change management strategy and plan for projects.
- Actively works on developing change management skills to be used on projects.
- 5+ years’ experience in the construction industry. Proven Project Management skills resulting in profitability and strong client outcomes.
- Strong working knowledge of CMiC, Textura and Procore, and MS Office, specifically creation of PowerPoint presentations and Microsoft Project scheduling.
- Bachelor's degree

Salary Range InformationBoston Base Salary Range: $115,000 - $150,000 The range stated is specific to Boston. Placement within the listed range depends on many factors including, but not limited to years of experience, project size capability (for Construction & Field roles) and internal company equity.
