Strategy Manager

The Strategy Manager will play a pivotal role in managing and executing the strategic vision of the organization. The role is responsible for managing, coordinating, and implementing the organization’s strategic planning and performance management efforts. This position is responsible for managing both the strategic and annual planning processes, fostering cross-team collaboration, and guiding teams in setting measurable goals. The role will also help refine and operationalize a performance measurement framework that ensures alignment between initiatives and strategic priorities.

This role will serve as the strategic and analytical engine for the Vice President of Strategy, ensuring cross functional alignment, clarity, and accountability across the organization to advance the mission.

• Develop and manage the annual and multi-year strategic planning processes, including all materials for planning activities.
• Collaborate with leadership and coordinate with teams across the organization to ensure alignment and cross-functional collaboration.
• Provide trends, landscape, and market analysis, delivering synthesized insights and recommendations to inform strategic decision making.
• Track, assess, and monitor organizational initiatives, activities, and partnerships for alignment with overall strategy.
• Assist in translating organization’s mission and vision into clear, measurable strategic goals and outcomes.

• Prepare and facilitate strategy discussions and working sessions with internal team and foster collaboration between teams.
• Serve as a strategic partner and resource for department leaders as they implement their strategic goals and work plans.
• Prepare clear, actionable reports, templates, and dashboards to communicate strategic progress.
• Monitor key strategic projects related to organizational growth and innovation.

• Develop and refine performance metrics and evaluation frameworks to track progress and measure impact of strategic initiatives across Enterprise to ensure accurate tracking and updates across departments.
• Partner with teams to evaluate progress on strategic initiatives and measure outcomes against expected results.
• Prepare regular reporting and insights for executive team, Board, and leadership.

• Support executive level leadership activities and major organizational processes, ensuring leaders have timely, accurate information to make decisions.
• Prepare high quality presentations, briefings, strategy decks, and narratives for Vice President, Strategy, ELT, Board, and external stakeholders.

• 3+ years of experience in strategic consulting, planning, or related roles with a record of high performance.
• Proven experience in enterprise-level planning and measurement processes.
• Demonstrated ability to align strategy with execution, ensuring successful outcomes for complex, multi-faceted initiatives.
• Strong analytical, facilitation, and project management skills, with experience working closely with leadership teams.
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities, including ability to create presentations and models.
• Experience in the nonprofit or mission-driven sector preferred.

The target hiring range for this role is $125,205- $147,300 (annually). The starting base salary will be determined based on skills, experience, and other job-related factors.
