Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic, hands‑on Assistant General Manager (AGM) to partner with the General Manager in leading all aspects of hotel operations. The AGM will play a critical role in driving financial performance, guest satisfaction, team engagement, and brand compliance.

This is an ideal opportunity for a high‑performing Rooms Director, Operations Manager, or seasoned Department Head ready to step into a senior leadership role within a lifestyle environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support overall hotel operations including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Engineering
  • Drive revenue performance through labor management, expense control, and productivity initiatives
  • Maintain strong guest satisfaction scores and online reputation metrics
  • Lead, coach, and develop department leaders and line‑level associates
  • Ensure compliance with Marriott brand standards and operational audits
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Foster a culture aligned with Moxy’s energetic, service‑forward brand personality
  • Act as Manager on Duty and step in for the General Manager when needed
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of progressive hotel leadership experience
  • Previous experience as Director of Rooms, Operations Manager, or equivalent preferred
  • Strong understanding of P&L management and labor controls
  • Experience with in Marriott or a lifestyle hotel brand preferred
  • Proven leadership, communication, and team‑building skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑energy environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or related field preferred

Competitive salary: $100,000 – $110,000
