We are partnered with one of Greater Boston’s premier construction management firms seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead multifamily residential projects throughout the city and surrounding suburbs.
This is an opportunity to join a well-established, growth-oriented builder known for delivering complex residential developments, mixed-use buildings, and urban infill projects across the region. The firm has built a strong reputation for quality, collaboration, and repeat client relationships in the Boston market.
About the RoleThe Project Manager will have full ownership of multifamily projects ranging from $20M–$80M, managing all phases from preconstruction through closeout. These are ground-up, mid-rise to high-rise residential developments, often in tight urban environments.
You will work closely with ownership groups, design teams, and field leadership to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Lead project planning, budgeting, and scheduling efforts
- Oversee subcontractor buyout and procurement strategy
- Manage client relationships and serve as primary point of contact
- Coordinate with Superintendents to drive field execution
- Review submittals, RFIs, change orders, and cost controls
- Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards
- Drive project financial performance and reporting
- 5+ years of experience in construction project management
- Proven experience managing multifamily residential projects ($20M+)
- Strong knowledge of Boston building environment and local subcontractor market
- Experience with urban, ground-up construction preferred
- Strong financial acumen and client-facing skills
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Established pipeline of multifamily projects throughout Boston
