This is a fast‑paced role reporting directly to the Executive Director of Operations and will have direct reports inclusive of Department Leaders, Managers of Projects, and select others. The successful candidate will bring a collaborative approach to cultivating partnerships with a wide range of cross‑functional teams and leaders from finance, sales and people partners including HR, Talent Acquisition, Health & Safety, and Jacobs Employee Network (JEN) leaders.

This role will sit in either the New York City, NY or Boston, MA office with preferred location being New York City.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for
  • Driving market expansion through strategic market partnerships and strong client engagement, in close collaboration with sales partners, regional technologist and design‑build leads
  • Bringing executive level business/financial acumen to deliver business KPIs and identify margin expansion opportunities
  • Enterprise leadership, along with inspiring and mentoring future leaders through coaching and career development
  • Leading key recruiting and retention efforts, including creating a culture of caring that invests in our people and results in continued low attrition and highly engaged teams
Here’s what you’ll need
  • 15+ years in leadership roles in operations for infrastructure and/or transportation markets
  • Engineering or business degree
  • Strong delivery experience with large, complex projects and programs
  • Strong financial acumen and experience with P&L ownership
  • Track record of operational transformation and driving growth
  • Inclusive leadership style with a passion for people development and promoting highly functional and results‑oriented teams
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and execute top business needs, while flexing to changing needs (maintain agile pace of play)
  • Champion for both global delivery and digital delivery adoption & growth
  • Market knowledge of trends and drivers in the transportation market, including design‑build delivery

The base salary range for this position is $ to $. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
