As a Manager, Central Stockroom, you bring a steady, solutions‑oriented approach to a fast‑paced operational environment, using your strong organizational discipline, analytical judgment, and attention to detail to keep complex inventory and compliance functions running smoothly. You lead with clarity and accountability, developing your team, fostering safety, and building trust across departments while coordinating resources to meet operational needs. You communicate effectively, remain composed during urgent or unexpected situations, and consistently look for ways to improve processes so airport operations can function reliably and efficiently.
WhatYou Will Do
- Oversee daily stockroom operations and maintain accurate, efficient inventory control systems for all materials, supplies, and baggage handling equipment.
- Lead and develop the inventory team, establishing workflows, providing training, and promoting safety, accountability, and productivity.
- Manage fuel purchasing and storage for the Logan fleet, ensuring full compliance with Department of Environmental Protection Title V and Stage II Vapor Recovery requirements.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, support emergency response needs, and drive process improvements, cost savings, and standardized purchasing procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities or Business Management preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
- 3–5 years of experience managing or operating a multi‑discipline maintenance or large physical plant environment preferred.
- Demonstrated organizational and systems management skills.
- Proven experience supporting facility warehouse operations and maintenance functions, with familiarity using database programs.
