We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial interior renovation projects from pre-construction through closeout. The role is responsible for delivering projects on time, on budget, and to specification while coordinating architects, contractors, and clients. Ideal candidates have strong experience in interior renovations, construction project management, and a focus on quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead planning, scheduling, and execution of commercial interior renovation projects, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met.
- Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost control measures; review and approve change orders.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, architects, and consultants to ensure alignment with project goals and schedules.
- Prepare and maintain detailed project schedules using industry-standard tools; monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.
- Oversee procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor quality, safety compliance, and progress; enforce company and regulatory safety standards.
- Manage client communications and expectations, provide regular status updates, and resolve issues promptly.
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and contracts; identify and mitigate risks and constructability issues.
- Prepare closeout documentation, punch lists, and ensure successful turnover and commissioning of renovated spaces.
- Implement quality control processes and drive continuous improvement across renovation projects.
- 3+ years of project management experience in commercial interior renovations or fit-outs.
- Proven track record managing budgets, schedules, and multiple stakeholders on medium- to large-scale interior renovation projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, interior finishes, MEP coordination, building codes, and accessibility standards.
- Proficiency with project management and scheduling software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Primavera, Plan Grid) and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and client relationships.
- Experience with contract administration, change order management, and risk mitigation.
