State Street Investment Management (SSIM) is seeking an Assistant Vice President to join its Global Multi-Asset Solutions (GMAS) team. This role focuses on driving execution and supporting the growth of model portfolio solutions and strategic partnerships across key client segments.
The AVP will play a central role in managing the progression of opportunities from initial engagement through onboarding and implementation. This individual will work closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver scalable investment solutions and enhance the client experience.
Key Responsibilities Pipeline & Opportunity Management- Manage and advance a pipeline of model portfolio and partnership opportunities
- Track progress, ensure timely execution, and support conversion to funded mandates
- Serve as a day‑to‑day contact for select strategic partners
- Support the development and execution of go‑to‑market initiatives in collaboration with senior leadership
- Assist in driving partner‑related opportunities through the pipeline
- Coordinate across internal teams, including Investment, Sales, Product, and Marketing
- Ensure alignment of stakeholders and timely delivery of required inputs
- Contribute to the preparation of proposals, presentations, and client materials
- Support onboarding processes to help ensure a consistent client experience
- Identify opportunities to enhance workflow efficiency and execution consistency
- Contribute to the development of scalable processes and operational best practices
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or CFA preferred
- 4-8+ years of experience in asset management, investment solutions, or related field
- Familiarity with model portfolios, multi‑asset strategies, or investment products
- Experience working with RIAs, platforms, or institutional clients is a plus
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Execution‑oriented with strong attention to detail
- Ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders and functions
- Solid understanding of investment concepts and portfolio construction
- Analytical mindset with the ability to track and manage pipeline activity
- Proactive and solution‑oriented approach
$90,000 – $157,500 Annual (primary location)
