MIGSO-PCUBED is seeking a driven and experienced Project Management Consultant with a background in Energy and Utilities to join our Boston. This role is onsite and will require travel to client locations as needed.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a motivated consultant with hands‑on experience delivering projects in regulated, asset-intensive environments to join our growing Boston team.

This role offers exposure to large-scale capital programs, digital transformation initiatives, and operational improvement efforts within energy and utilities

What You’ll Do

As a Project Management Consultant, you will partner directly with clients to strengthen their project delivery capabilities and ensure successful execution of complex initiatives. Responsibilities may include:

  • Designing, implementing, and maturing PMO frameworks aligned with energy, infrastructure, or transportation program requirements
  • Managing and coordinating large, cross‑functional project teams, including engineering, IT, operations, vendors, and external stakeholders
  • Supporting delivery of capital projects, digital initiatives, regulatory‑driven programs, and operational transformations
  • Establishing project controls, governance, risk management, and reporting structures
  • Supporting senior leadership with client relationship management and strategic decision‑making
  • Identifying improvement opportunities and contributing to proposal development and business growth efforts
  • Ensuring high levels of client satisfaction, delivery excellence, and stakeholder alignment

As a consultant, you will adapt quickly to new environments, represent the MP brand on client sites, and collaborate with global teams to deliver best‑in‑class project management solutions.

Who You Are
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Engineering, Construction Management, Information Systems, or related field preferred)
  • 7+ years of project or PMO experience within Energy, Oil & Gas, Utilities, Renewable Energy or Infrastructure environments
  • Proven experience working in complex, regulated, or capital‑intensive programs
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity, shifting priorities, and fast‑paced client environments
Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP or equivalent certification
  • Experience with project controls, scheduling, or cost management
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6, Jira, Smartsheet, Power BI)

Compensation

MIGSO-PCUBED believes in fair and equitable compensation. The estimated total compensation range for this role is $100,000 – $125,000 DOE annually
, plus participation in an annual performance‑based incentive program. Compensation is determined based on experience, skill set, certifications, and business needs.
