Project Manager​/Project Coordinator

We are seeking an IT Project Manager for a long-term contract in Boston, MA.

Hybrid schedule with 2–3 days per week onsite in Boston, MA.

Duration: 6+ Month Contract (Potential Extension/Contract-to-Hire)

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to support a leading higher education client in Boston. This role requires a seasoned project manager who excels at coordinating cross‑functional teams, managing project schedules, mitigating risks, and driving successful project delivery in a fast‑paced environment.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can effectively manage multiple initiatives while keeping projects on track from initiation through completion.

• Lead and manage multiple IT projects simultaneously.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams and ensure timely project delivery.
• Identify, track, and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Facilitate meetings and provide regular project status updates to stakeholders.
• Manage project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
• Foster collaboration among business and technical teams.
• Ensure projects align with organizational goals and priorities.

• 5+ years of IT Project Management experience.
• Proven experience managing enterprise IT projects.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Azure Dev Ops, or similar.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Experience coordinating cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.

• PMP certification preferred but not required.
• Experience in higher education is a plus but not required.
• Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall environments.
