Role Summary

We are looking for a Head of Channel Excellence Management to lead at the LEGO Group. This leader will occupy key market locations such as Boston (US), Copenhagen, and Billund (Denmark) and will transform channel strategy into measurable commercial impact, unlocking incremental sales growth across priority channels.

Responsibilities
  • Enable Market Group and Business Unit colleagues to advance the LEGO Group Channel Strategy, translating strategy into clear actions that drive in‑market execution (e.g., retail execution standards, marketplace activation approaches, in‑store programs that deliver measurable uplift).
  • Drive sales growth through focused omni‑channel expansion and strong retail execution, prioritising initiatives that deliver measurable impact such as space growth, sell‑out rates, and return on investment.
  • Lead high‑impact, cross‑market initiatives with clear commercial outcomes, ensuring strong prioritisation and preventing duplication of market or functional capabilities and efforts.
  • Drive cross‑border and marketplace governance, addressing structural challenges that cannot be solved locally and ensuring consistent global guardrails.
  • Lead the Global Commercial Integration forum and agenda, focusing on high‑impact opportunities.
  • Champion a culture of simplification, prioritisation, and commercial rigor, focusing on value creation rather than activity.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience with a consistent track record of delivery and leadership in a commercial role within Sales, Retail, or Omni‑channel environments.
  • Extensive and current perspective on sales excellence and customer success, with deep understanding of retail, e‑commerce, and marketplace dynamics.
  • Strong ability to translate strategy into simple, executable actions that produce quantifiable outcomes in‑market.
  • Strong team leadership experience within matrix organisations, enabling and influencing across functions.
  • Excellent partner management ability to operate at C‑suite level, influencing across functions and leading focused, high‑impact initiatives.
  • Strategically strong, pragmatic, and determined, able to prioritise ruthlessly and simplify complexity.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive commercial impact and transformation with a clear focus on value creation and return on investment.
  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen, capable of using data to guide decisions and prioritisation.
  • Role model for diversity & inclusion, openness to challenge status quo and bring new perspectives.
  • Mobility & willingness to travel up to 20 days per year.
