Job SummaryThe Duty Manager is responsible for ensuring the daily airport operation runs in a safe, efficient, and cost‑effective manner. The Duty Manager will oversee and coordinate team activities to create a safe, reliable, efficient, and effective operation.

- Supervise and coordinate team activities related to the operation.
- Coach, counsel, and mentor employees, including issuing disciplinary action as required.
- Assist in recruiting, administrative, payroll, employee scheduling, and general administrative duties.
- Monitor staffing and overtime use and operational and financial performance of the assigned station.
- Promote team‑building initiatives to develop and motivate team members.
- Complete work in a safe and secure manner, following company safety and operational standards.
- Immediately report safety and security incidents as well as potential hazards in line with Unifi Fair and Just Culture Policy.
- Perform other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill, experience, and capabilities expected for this position.
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Possesses a valid Driver’s License.
- Must be able to obtain credentials required as per airport, state, or customs requirements.
- Supervisory experience is required.
- Two years of relevant work experience in the aviation or ground handling services industry.
- Must be able to frequently push, pull, stoop, squat, kneel, bend, lift and move up to 70 lbs, and constantly walk, stand, handle, grasp and reach out. May have to reach above shoulder occasionally.
- Need flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime in a shift bid environment.
- Must be alert to moving vehicles or aircraft and use radio equipment.
- Enjoy the outdoors daily (sun, rain, sleet or snow) and may be exposed to a wide variety of weather conditions, jet and machinery noises, fumes, dirt and dust for extended periods.
