Senior Project Manager - Water Engineering - (194180)

As part of our Water Business Group, you will help shape how communities manage water for generations to come, delivering safe drinking water, treating wastewater responsibly, and protecting lives through flood control.

In the role of Senior Project Manager–Water Engineering, you will:

  • Direct and coordinate work of single or multi‑discipline teams throughout the project's lifecycle (from development & initiation to close‑out)
  • Manage all aspects of large multi‑discipline projects or medium‑sized projects with high technical complexity, involving a large project staff
  • Produce and coordinate several projects concurrently
  • Establish and maintain client relations and participate in marketing, contractual, design and production meetings
  • Conduct work sessions for deliverable development with staff and stakeholders
  • Coordinate staffing and workload through the entire project life cycle, ensuring completion of deliverables on schedule
  • Track financial aspects of projects, coordinating and adjusting work effort to keep projects within budget and schedule
  • Work with Accounting, Operations and Business leadership for periodic project reviews
  • Implement QA/QC procedures
  • Supervise large project staffs and mentor less‑experienced Project Managers
  • Perform other duties as required
Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP certification
  • Preference given to candidates currently residing in the New England area
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • 10 years of related experience
  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience
  • Professional engineering license (PE or P.Eng) recognized in the location of employment
  • Experience with MS Office and MS Project (Access experience a plus)
  • Demonstrated leadership, business development, and strategic planning skills
  • Commitment to being an active participant in an employee‑owned culture
