Director of Project Management – Life Sciences

This is a full‑time role. Turner & Townsend invites an experienced Director to lead and grow a high‑performing Project Management team, delivering excellence across major projects and programs in life sciences and other sectors.

Responsibilities:

• Strong leadership; build and mentor a project management team.
• Communicate with clients, oversee service delivery and project coordination.
• Conduct research on construction market conditions and produce thought‑leadership reports.
• Strategically manage Project Management Services, including resource, financial, business development, and training functions.
• Develop and execute clear strategies aligned with the Business Plan.
• Promote a culture of learning, respect, and inclusivity while growing staff capabilities.
• Maintain knowledge management, ensuring lessons learned enter internal databases.
• Identify process improvements and drive quality control, including ISO audit participation.
• Create risk mitigation plans, KPIs, and management controls based on company goals.
• Coordinate internal and external BMS audits.
• Act as a brand ambassador, building opportunity pipelines and cross‑selling prospects.
• Participate in senior leadership meetings and deliver presentations.
• Track revenue, margin, and resource requirements using internal software.
• Prepare proposals/RFP responses for new clients and projects.
• Attend networking and promotional events with directors.
• Support training and mentorship, encouraging career growth.
• Partner with talent acquisition to attract talent and plan staffing.
• Adopt a one‑business culture, balancing outcomes for people, clients, stakeholders, and society.
• Adhere to SOX control responsibilities where applicable.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field.
• Graduate degree preferred.
• 12+ years of construction project management experience.
• Minimum 2 years managing high‑performing multidisciplinary teams in a consulting environment.
• Proven track record delivering project management services to clients.
• Business‑development drive with experience in achieving growth.
• Experience with in major construction sectors such as commercial real estate, data centers, life sciences, industrial manufacturing, and natural resources.
• Excellent verbal, written, organizational, and communication skills.
