Overview

The Tufts University School of Medicine is launching the Sam W. Ho Center for Health Care Transformation (Ho Center, the Center), a new multidisciplinary center dedicated to advancing health care innovation, improving population health, and achieving health justice. The Dean is seeking an experienced leader to help establish the Center and guide its ongoing development, growth, and operations.

Working closely with the Dean, Center leadership, and faculty across the School of Medicine and Tufts University, the Executive Director will help shape and advance the Center's research, education, and policy agenda. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced, highly motivated, and visionary leader to help establish and grow a new center dedicated to advancing health care transformation, health justice, research, education, and policy.

As the Center continues to evolve, the Executive Director will play a key role in shaping its future direction, growth, and impact.

The Center will bring together faculty, researchers, clinicians, students, and external partners across Tufts University School of Medicine, Tufts Medicine, and other health care systems. In addition, the Center will align schools and departments across Tufts University, including community health, economics, informatics, nutritional sciences, veterinary medicine, dental medicine, policy, and communications, to foster a comprehensive and coordinated approach to health care transformation and health justice.

Through this cross-disciplinary and integrated approach, the Center will identify research, educational, and clinical priorities that advance health care transformation, improve health outcomes, and promote evidence-based solutions to today's most pressing health challenges. Areas of focus may include health justice, climate justice, food as medicine, community health, housing justice, and digital health.

Established through the philanthropy and vision of Tufts trustee and alumnus Dr. Sam W. Ho, the Center reflects his lifelong commitment to advancing health justice and transforming health care delivery.

This is a fully onsite leadership position based at Tufts University's Health Sciences campus in Boston. Regular on-campus presence is expected five days per week.
