Position Overview

Reporting to our Senior Vice President, the Branch Manager will serve as a sales-focused team leader driving profitable growth in our Facility Services Division
. This role requires a strong background in janitorial and maintenance operations and proven success in business development and branch leadership
. Based in Massachusetts, the ideal candidate will oversee all operational, sales, financial, and administrative functions for the region, ensuring top-quality service and long-term client retention and relationships.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities 1. Sales & Business Development
  • Drive the profitable growth of janitorial and maintenance services throughout the Northeast region.
  • Generate leads, attend pre-bid conferences, prepare proposals, and secure new contracts.
  • Collaborate on and execute a 3-year strategic plan to meet revenue, profit, and market-expansion goals.
  • Strengthen existing client relationships and identify potential cross-selling or service enhancements.
2. Operations & Financial Management
  • Set and manage branch budgets, including labor, supplies, payroll, billing, and invoices.
  • Oversee all expenditures and maintain cost-effective operations without compromising service quality.
  • Provide accurate P&L reporting, ensuring the branch meets or exceeds financial targets.
  • Coordinate with corporate leadership to ensure compliance with all company policies and regulatory requirements.
3. Janitorial & Maintenance Expertise
  • Ensure consistent, high-quality janitorial and maintenance operations that meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Adhere to the safety programs and train staff on proper equipment use, chemical handling, and maintenance protocols.
  • Regularly inspect sites to maintain quality standards and proactively address any deficiencies.
4. Team Leadership & Development
  • Recruit, train, and mentor employees in alignment with the company’s core values.
  • Conduct periodic performance reviews, identify top talent, and promote from within as appropriate.
  • Foster a positive work environment where employees feel respected, motivated, and accountable.
  • Collaborate with sales and operational teams to ensure unity of vision and achievement of shared goals.
5. Customer Relationship Management
  • Develop and maintain key client relationships through regular communication and site visits.
  • Proactively address customer concerns; resolve issues promptly and thoroughly.
  • Seek opportunities to provide value-added services that strengthen long-term partnerships.
6. Strategic Planning & Continuous Improvement
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging best practices.
  • Identify opportunities to adopt new technologies or methods that lower costs and enhance services.
  • Collaborate with the executive team on strategic initiatives and acquisitions relevant to janitorial and maintenance growth.
Required

Skills & Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 10 years in facility-related services (janitorial, maintenance, etc.).
    • Demonstrated success in expanding business and leading high-performance teams.
  • Sales Orientation: Proven track record of generating leads, closing deals, and meeting revenue targets.
  • Management

    Skills:

    Strong background in budgeting, scheduling, and payroll oversight.
  • Leadership & Communication: Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills; able to motivate teams and collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Technical & Analytical: Proficient in MS Office and adept at data analysis, problem-solving, and strategic planning.
Nice to Have
  • Working knowledge of CRM software and advanced analytical tools.
  • Familiarity with best practices in cost-savings, safety, and compliance.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Pay Range: $90,000 – $110,000 base salary, plus bonus structure.
