• Strategize and supervise franchise operations within the designated region, focusing on Asian cuisine programs
• Recruit, train, onboard, supervise, and evaluate managers and supervisors
• Oversee managers' schedules and workflows and provide coaching, feedback, development, and guidance
• Enforce company policies during disciplinary actions and termination procedures
• Collaborate with local retailers, merchandisers, and retail leadership to improve program performance
• Implement and oversee Brand and Regulatory Compliance Audit Checklists
• Formulate and manage regional merchandising strategies to drive customer engagement and sales growth
• Monitor inventory, optimize stock levels, and minimize turnover and shrinkage
• Interpret audits and coach franchisees on compliance
• Recruit franchise partners and assist with store recruitment, new store openings, and franchise transfers
• Manage regional Asian cuisine franchise operations and continuously improve performance
• Set and enforce program metrics, guidelines, and standards
• Evaluate and refine procedures and develop policies to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction
• Oversee regional budgets and cost of sales
• Communicate directives, policies, and procedures through regional staff meetings
• Generate comprehensive monthly reports
• Address stakeholder inquiries and provide solutions
• Visit regional stores to monitor adherence to company standards
• Monitor regional Asian cuisine sales and identify growth opportunities
• Develop relationships with regional merchandisers, managers, franchisees, and retail stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration; preferred
- At least 8 years of experience in operations management, ideally within the food and beverage industry or franchise management at a regional level
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing and merchandising Asian cuisine, preferably in a regional franchise context
- Maintain Serv Safe Manager Certification
- Expertise in Asian cuisine operations, food preparation and presentation, and regional Asian cuisine lines including sushi, dumplings, and pan-Asian dishes
- Proficiency in merchandising, product display strategies, customer behavior and regional market trends
- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and Asian cuisine product lines
- Operational problem-solving skills
- Strong administrative, interpersonal, mentorship, strategic thinking, and communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally
- Ability to travel frequently within the region
- Ability to operate in confined spaces (kiosk)
