Headquartered in Boston, the firm has offices across North America, the UK, Europe, Asia and Oceania.
The Director of Family Office Services will lead the ongoing management of Cambridge Associates' Family Office Services team within the Private Client Practice, serving as a partner and resource across family office design, governance, legacy planning and advisory services, while integrating these offerings with the firm's core investment management platform. The Director will also oversee partnerships with external providers to deliver a full spectrum of family office and family administration services.
Responsibilities span strategic leadership (refining the vision and operating model for the Family Office Services team), service development and delivery (designing in-house family office services including governance structure, legacy planning and advisory, and integration with investment management), partnership management (developing and vetting relationships with external providers across tax, legal, trusteeship, accounting and specialty asset management), and business development (identifying new opportunities, serving as a senior advisor to clients and prospects, and representing the firm at industry events).
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required, with a relevant advanced degree (JD, MBA, CPA or CFP) strongly preferred. 10+ years of experience in family office services, private wealth management or a related field, with demonstrated expertise in family office design, governance, legacy planning and advisory. Candidates should have a strong network of relationships with external service providers, proven leadership and team management experience, and strong business development acumen.
