Jacobs is seeking a Senior Program Manager to support the delivery of major capital infrastructure programs within the Energy Transition space. This role is located in the United States with occasional domestic travel. You'll focus on implementing program management strategies in collaboration with Program Managers and cross-functional teams, helping to drive performance, ensure alignment with client objectives, and contribute to Jacobs’ mission of creating a more sustainable future.

In addition, it is anticipated that this role will include assessing project delivery and execution risk and hands-on risk management support for a major utility program. This will involve helping the project and program teams identify, assess, manage, and communicate risks that may affect successful delivery. The role will work directly with project managers, project controls professionals, contract managers, technical specialists, construction and operations representatives, finance teams, and other stakeholders to improve delivery confidence and support timely decision‑making.

The role will involve leading risk workshops, risk reviews, and issue‑management sessions to identify risks associated with project scope, design, procurement, contracting, construction, commissioning, schedule, cost, resources, interfaces, quality, operational readiness, and other delivery activities. The role will ensure that risks are recorded clearly, assessed consistently, assigned to accountable owners, and supported by specific response actions.

The role will work across multiple projects and functions, often in a changing and time-sensitive environment. It will require strong organization, sound judgement, effective facilitation, practical project delivery knowledge, and the ability to balance constructive challenges with positive working relationships.

• Support Program Manager in the delivery of complex infrastructure programs, ensuring alignment with client goals and Jacobs’ sustainability values.
• Lead the implementation of program management functions including risk, controls, commercial oversight, design coordination, and stakeholder management.
• Manage day-to-day operations of assigned programs, ensuring technical performance, schedule adherence, and budget control.
• Provide senior leadership with internal teams and supply chain partners to foster high-performing, agile delivery environments.
• Contribute to business development activities by identifying opportunities, supporting proposal development, and building client relationships.
• Assist in developing execution plans and innovative delivery approaches for complex capital programs.
