As a Practice Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of a physician practice or small multi-site practice, ensuring efficient workflows, engaged staff, and a high standard of service for patients and providers alike.
What You'll Do- Lead and support administrative and clinical support staff across one or more practice locations.
- Manage staffing schedules, identify coverage needs, and coordinate replacements to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop team members while fostering a positive and accountable work environment.
- Monitor performance, conduct evaluations, and support employee growth through training and mentoring.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA requirements, organizational policies, and mandatory training standards.
- Improve practice operations by evaluating workflows, implementing process improvements, and monitoring key performance metrics.
- Partner with practice leadership on budgeting, payroll oversight, and operational planning.
- Support patient billing and revenue cycle activities to ensure adherence to established procedures.
- 5+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in a healthcare, medical practice, or similar operational environment.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage staffing, and support employee development.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience working with operational metrics, budgets, payroll, and administrative processes.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
