Description

Every claim tells a story about someone whose life just got harder - a car accident, a lawsuit, a loss they didn't see coming. Behind every one of those stories is an operation that has to run flawlessly under pressure. That's where the Sr Claims Operations Manager comes in.

As Sr Claims Operations Manager for Casualty
, you'll be the connective tissue between Claims functional leadership and the operational muscle that makes their vision real. You'll turn strategy into results, coach a team of Claims Ops Managers to do the same and keep a sharp eye on the numbers that tell you whether the whole operation is actually working - for customers and for the people delivering on our promise to them.

* For I&S Roles, if you live within 50 miles of one of our hub locations, the expectation is twice a week in office.*

What you'll do
  • Own the results. Review and monitor operational performance across your aligned Claims function, then build and roll out recommendations that improve customer service, retention, productivity and total cost management.
  • Build the team you'd want to work for. Select top talent, coach continuously and hold your Claims Ops Managers accountable for developing their own people - because an engaging work environment starts with how you show up for your team.
  • Partner across the business. Work closely with Claims functional leadership, operational staff, cross-functional leaders and outside stakeholders to bring projects and initiatives across the finish line.
  • Champion the customer experience. Find the process efficiencies that make claims easier for customers and better for the business, while keeping every result compliant with the regulatory environment.
  • Represent Claims Operations where it counts. Sit on department task forces and committees, act as the go-to liaison when issues come up, keep senior leaders in the loop and help shape planning and budget decisions.
  • Lead the rollout. Manage training and implementation for Claims programs and initiatives - from new systems to efficiency plays.
  • Step up when it matters most. Step up when it matters most. Take on special projects as they arise.
Why this role:

You'll have the backing of a company that's been protecting what matters to people since 1912 - and the room to shape how Claims Operations gets that job done. If you're ready to lead a team, sharpen an operation and make an impact people actually feel, we'd love to talk.
