Storekeeper

Compensation $18.50/hour

Responsible for receiving, properly dating and rotating, and storing products in designated storage areas according to FIFO practices. Responsible for delivering various products to various departments on a continuous basis, or according to a delivery schedule, or by requisitions/kit. Decant products following FIFO practices and handle food according to HACCP Guidelines. Must keep work area/department clean and organized. Breaks down cardboard and follows the recycling process.

Must work safely following safety guidelines.

• Must have good organizational skills and adaptable to frequent changes
• Must be able to use fingers & hands to handle equipment
• Must be able to date product and verify information
• Follow FIFO (first in First out) at all times
• Must be able to work in cold environment.
• Must be able to work around moving equipment and wet floors
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and push loads using rolling stock
• Must be able to walk/stoop/bend/stand for 8 to 10 hours per shift
• Must be flexible to work various positions or complete other duties as assigned by Supervisor
• Must be able to use electrical and manual pallet jack.
