Manufacturing Technician III provides engineering support to sustain and improve the performance of the manufacturing process with the objective of meeting business goals in terms of Safety, Quality, Service, Cost. Acts as an advisor to other process techs to help achieve business goals.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Work with Manufacturing Engineers in developing, trouble shooting, standardising and improving existing production methods and procedures.
  • Work on Electronic troubleshooting, P.L.C. programming, electronic hardware interfacing.
  • Take a lead role in investigating and implementing new production methods.
  • Modify existing and develop new tooling and fixtures
  • Revise existing documents, processes, and/or methods to correct or improve processes/product
  • Work with vendors/suppliers to procure and install tooling, fixtures, and/or equipment
  • Perform equipment qualifications and validations, including report writing etc.
  • Design, specify, manufacture, test and document production equipment, changes and improvements.
  • Take responsibility for creating and completing preventative maintenance procedures with an assigned process or area.
  • Assists in implementing technical improvements under the teams C.I.P. program.
  • Communicates any concerns about work process regarding environmental impact, health or safety issues to their Manager.
Job Requirements:
  • Candidate required to posess at least Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of working experience in related field.
  • Has hands-on experience in the manufacturing industry, including practical skills in equipment troubleshooting and vision system.
  • Experience in leading junior technician and continuous improvement project.

  • Technician skill which capable to diagnose and troubleshoot the equipment.
  • Basic skill in Microsoft office especially MS. Excel, Words and Power Point.
  • Good communication skill.
  • Knowledge in PLC / Software debug / Electrical skill has added advantages
