Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Produce Packer to join our team in Roxbury, MA. The Produce Packer is responsible for sorting, packaging, labeling, and stocking fresh fruits and vegetables in a clean and efficient manner.

• Sort, clean, and package fresh produce for display
• Label packages accurately with product names, weights, and sell‑by dates
• Refill and rotate produce displays using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method
• Maintain cleanliness of the packing area, tools, and storage coolers
• Follow store guidelines on packaging types, branding, and pricing
• Assist with receiving and unloading produce shipments
• Communicate shortages, overripe produce, or damaged items to supervisors
• Comply with all food safety, sanitation, and store policies
• Support other produce department tasks as needed (e.g., trimming, organizing)

• Experience as a Produce Packer or in a similar role preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and orderliness.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.

• Basic math and reading skills for weights and labels.
