Industrial Maintenance Technician

2nd & 3rd Shifts Mon - Fri Charlestown, MA

2nd Shift: 2:30pm – 10:30pm

3rd Shift: 10pm – 6am

Plenty of OT & holiday pay available; (most are averaging 50 hrs/week)

This is a full‑production industrial mechanic role.

This is NOT a handyman, HVAC or residential mechanic position. Please – Only apply if you meet the minimum requirements.

Why This Role Matters: Join a nationwide leader in recycling and waste solutions. You’ll keep the plant’s heavy production equipment—conveyors, balers, shredders, compactors, sorters—running safely, efficiently, and reliably.

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic production machinery
• Perform PM’s and installations to prevent downtime
• Work independently or with a team to keep production on schedule
• Use maintenance software to document work orders

• 5+ years of industrial/mechanical maintenance experience in production environments
• Mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills
• Experience with large conveyors (24”+) and replacing/lacing belts
• Knowledge of 480V 3‑phase motors
• Experience with telehandlers, forklifts, and loaders
• Own basic tools (socket sets, wrenches, cordless drill, grinder, multimeter)
• Valid driver’s license
• Basic Welding knowledge

(Not required – but a plus: Hoisting license/ skills. Schedule 160 Pipe welding is a plus)

• $28–$50/hour depending on experience
• Plenty of OT & holiday pay available; (most are averaging 50 hrs/week)

Pay Details: $28.00 to $50.00 per hour
