Material Handler

Summary

The Material Handler position has a variety of different job functions such as but not limited to checking incoming freight, picking and packing of outgoing material, and processing external paperwork for shipment through various domestic and international carriers and forwarders.

• Responsible for checking inbound material from outside vendors and internal shipping points that forward stock material in Boston/Hopkinton for shipments to domestic and international carriers.
• Responsible for pulling and packing finished goods from the shelves and processing them for shipment.
• Process domestic and international paperwork for outgoing material, Assist with Cycle Count / Area Count process.
• Work with Inventory Control personnel to label and store incoming materials. Additional Responsibilities:
  May be asked to learn additional tasks as they become more familiar with the products we ship out of the Boston/Hopkinton site.

• HS Diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years of warehouse or manufacturing or experience.

• Knowledge of Microsoft office (Word / Excel).

• Must be able to lift more than 60 lbs.
• Must be able to stand on their feet for more than 4 hours straight.
• Must be able to move Lead crates and operate a pallet jack.
• Must be able to bend up and down frequently throughout the day.
• Must have ability to walk up and down the stairs.

The hourly base salary range for this full-time position is $20.00 - 24.00. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this position. The base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account internal equity, work location, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Please note that base pay is only one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This range allows for the successful candidate to have an opportunity to progress within the position and develop at our company. This base pay range does not take into account bonuses, equity, or other benefits which may be applicable and are dependent on the level and position offered.
