• Serve as the inaugural Mechanical Fabrication Technician / Senior Mechanical Fabrication Technician, fabricating lab, pilot and commercial‑scale DAC equipment.
• Work with engineers to review and interpret P&IDs, equipment, line, instrument and valve lists, general assembly, plumbing run and spool drawings; produce As‑Built drawings and complete fabrication and assembly checklists.
• Select and order parts from Bills of Materials and equipment lists; follow receipt procedures and complete inventory counts.
• Order and maintain sufficient inventory of shop consumables and hardware.
• Organize and maintain the inventory, shop and fabrication operations to ensure cleanliness, quality, safety and efficiency.
• Support lab and pilot operations by following SOPs, reading instrument values, performing standardized laboratory tests and completing round checklists; follow SOPs to formulate textile finishing solution batches.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Associate’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Industrial Maintenance or a related field; or equivalent work experience fabricating, operating or maintaining process equipment or machinery.
• 5 years or more of relevant work experience.
• Ability to operate hand and powered tools to fabricate frames and skids comprised of strut and other systems.
• Ability to accurately fabricate plumbing runs and spools of metal and polymeric piping, tubing and components with threaded, flanged, compression and other connections.
• Welding and CNC machining skills are desirable, but not required.
• Ability to follow SOPs to operate lab and pilot scale equipment and perform standardized lab testing, accurately read and record instrument values, complete round checklists, and weigh and mix ingredients for textile finishing solutions.
• Willingness and ability to travel in the US occasionally as required.

This position is located in an industrial setting. Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing for extended periods; lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs regularly and occasionally heavier items with assistance; manual dexterity to operate hand tools, power tools and machinery.

• Base salary: $75k to $125k, depending on qualifications, experience and skills.
