Plant Manager – As a Plant Manager, you will join our Holliston Manufacturing facility in an on‑site capacity, taking full ownership of site operations and performance. In this role, you will lead initiatives that deliver measurable and sustainable improvements in on‑time delivery, service levels, and overall lead time.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement a manufacturing strategy aligned with broader business objectives, including scaling proven point‑of‑impact production and delivery models.
- Oversee ongoing strategy deployment and KPI performance reviews, ensuring accountability, execution rigor, and urgency across all operational priorities.
- Champion the design and execution of EHS and industrial hygiene programs to reduce workplace incidents and create a safer operating environment.
- Drive a strong continuous improvement culture, executing a strategic roadmap focused on improvements in working capital, quality, delivery, cost, and business growth.
- Build and develop a high‑performing team, evolving the organizational structure as needed while fostering engagement and growth at all levels.
- Improve cycle times and working capital efficiency by implementing flexible and lean manufacturing practices.
- Ensure that KPIs and performance systems are clearly defined, consistently tracked, and drive actionable outcomes.
- Regularly communicate operational plans, performance results, and KPI progress, taking decisive actions to improve financial outcomes related to labor, overhead, and inventory.
- Collaborate closely within a matrixed organization, partnering with functions such as sales, marketing, engineering, finance, supply chain, and HR to align on business priorities.
- Optimize resource allocation across the plant to support customer‑driven goals and operational efficiency.
- Work cross‑functionally with Product Marketing, R&D, and Quality teams to enhance product performance and customer satisfaction.
- Act as a key contributor to the Sales & Operations Planning (SOP) process.
- Continuously evaluate and implement industry best practices to drive ongoing improvement.
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field (master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing operations, with a proven record of driving performance improvements.
- Strong experience building and sustaining a lean culture, including hands‑on implementation of lean tools and methodologies.
- Exposure to metal fabrication, machining/finishing, and assembly operations (highly preferred).
- Solid understanding of supply chain and inventory management practices.
- Working knowledge of OSHA standards, environmental compliance, and EHS management systems.
