About the Role

The role is an internship focused on preventive maintenance and support of industrial production equipment at Reworld.

Responsibilities

Effectively complete preventive maintenance tasks per company maintenance schedule to prevent equipment breakdowns and operational downtime.

Utilize root‑cause analysis skills to investigate breakdowns and line stoppages in collaboration with various teams and stakeholders.

Prioritize work to ensure timely maintenance, repair and installation of equipment, tools and utility systems, and complete all required paperwork and documentation in the company’s computerized maintenance documentation program.

Open and close work orders, check out spare parts and perform other required activities in the plant’s maintenance documentation system.

Repair and/or maintain the operating condition of industrial production or processing machinery or equipment, including inspection, assembly, disassembly and replacement as necessary.

Diagnose malfunctions using mechanical devices and observe the operation of machinery to ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.

Review maintenance reports and statistics to plan and modify future maintenance activities.

Physical Demands of the Role

Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climb.
Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces.
Ability to wear a full‑face respirator.
Ability to work in various weather conditions.

Position Requirements & Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age.
Must be in the process of successfully completing a high‑school major.
The role is not eligible for benefits.

Pay Transparency

Reworld is committed to paying equitably. The base pay range for this internship position at the primary location is $39,200.00 – $52,100.00 USD. The final salary offered will be based on experience, education, geographic location, skills, competencies, travel requirements, and/or union contracts if applicable.
