Facility and Vessel Maintenance Technician

We are currently seeking a Facility and Vessel Maintenance Technician to join our team at our busy plant right on the Boston Fish Pier. This role involves the oversight and day‑to‑day maintenance of a wide range of equipment and machinery across our facility and vessels. While experience working on boats is a plus, it is not required—we are more than willing to train the right candidate!

We are primarily looking for individuals who are reliable, mechanically inclined, and eager to learn in a hands‑on environment.

• Responsible for the proper operation of a wide variety of complex machinery and equipment in the processing plant and fishing vessels.
• Responsible for specialized repair and maintenance in a particular discipline such as electrical and mechanical devices, hydraulics, plant operations, general facilities maintenance, processing equipment as assigned and as qualified.
• Maintains and repairs various equipment.
• May assist in the operation of ice machine systems.
• Responsible for having a firm knowledge of plant layout, and a firm knowledge of the systems and/or equipment related to their specialized discipline. Must be able to anticipate plant and vessel priorities as the situation arises.
• Contributes to the overall preventative maintenance program with the current framework of Atlantic Coast Seafoods, Inc.
• Completes speedy and effective production operations and facilities maintenance during plant downtime and provides well‑arranged details of work tasks and contributes to the overall effort.
• Creates and maintains a safe working environment in accordance with company policy by closely monitoring the safe use of equipment and work habits in and around the work area.
