Client is looking for an experienced Electro Mechanical - Multivac Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be supporting the Technical & Engineering department on the maintenance, care, and efficient operation of the organization's food processing equipment and facilities.
Responsibilities- Start up of lines and machinery: commissioning of lines and machinery, carry out the assembly of production lines and machinery and participate in the installation of new machinery.
- Inspect and perform repairs & maintenance on food industry machinery: machinery includes processing & production equipment, Multivac machine, thermoformed and thermosealed.
- Perform preventive maintenance.
- Perform corrective maintenance.
- Basic understanding of or ability to quickly learn the equipment and facilities to be maintained.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software as required to complete and maintain records.
- Able to work the second shift.
- Able to be on call as required.
- Experience with machinery and/or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Basic understanding of or ability to quickly learn the equipment and facilities to be maintained.
- Able to be on call, as required.
- Second shift availability (3:00pm - 11:00pm / initial training 12:00pm - 8:00pm).
- Full time position in a company with almost 100 years of experience in the seafood business.
