Stockroom Manager

Uni First is seeking a Stockroom Manager to oversee inventory and materials supporting our manufacturing and uniform rental operations. You'll manage receiving, stocking, picking, and issuing of garments and supplies, maintain accurate inventory records, and optimize stock levels to meet production and customer demands. This role supervises stockroom staff, enforces safety and 5S standards, and partners with production and service teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily stockroom operations including receiving, stocking, picking, and issuing materials
• Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and reconciliations
• Optimize stock levels to support manufacturing schedules and customer demand
• Supervise, train, and schedule stockroom staff to meet productivity and quality goals
• Implement and maintain 5
• S and Lean practices for an organized, efficient stockroom
• Coordinate with production, service, and purchasing teams on material needs and priorities
• Monitor and enforce safety procedures and OSHA-compliant practices in the stockroom
• Use inventory management or ERP systems to track, analyze, and report inventory data
• Resolve inventory discrepancies and drive root-cause corrective actions
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve service levels
