Brand and Marketing Associate

The Brand & Marketing Associate plays a key role in telling the Credit Union’s story and strengthening relationships within the first responder community. This position supports the delivery of meaningful, compliant, and engaging marketing initiatives that reflect the Credit Union’s strategic mission of serving first responders and their families.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Execute and distribute marketing communications across digital, print, social media, email, website, and branch channels with a strong focus on first responder engagement.
• Maintain branch lobby, digital displays, and collateral to ensure a professional, welcoming environment for members.
• Manage website content, promotions, rates, and news to keep information timely and relevant to members and prospective members.
• Support member marketing campaigns and automated journeys that address the unique financial needs of first responders and their families.
• Assist in the creation and management of digital marketing initiatives including email campaigns, social media content and advertising, SEO, and online promotions.
• Monitor social media activity, community conversations, and competitive activity within first responder communities.
• Support Credit Union departments with brand and marketing needs that align with the Credit Union’s mission and values.
• Assist with planning, staffing, and execution of on-site and off-site events, sponsor ships, and community outreach activities.
• As requested, travel to firehouses, police stations, and first responder locations to deliver marketing materials and support relationship-building efforts.
• Represent the Credit Union at community, civic, and trade events; actively promote the Credit Union as a trusted partner to first responders.
• Facilitate financial literacy education sessions for first responder groups, both in person and virtually.
• Research industry trends, member demographics, and data insights to support targeted marketing and product recommendations.
• Track and analyze campaign performance, sharing insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Ensure all marketing activities comply with applicable legal, regulatory, and field-of-membership requirements.
• Complete special projects as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience in a financial institution is preferred.
• Valid MA Driver’s License
• Ability to extract and analyze data utilizing database and spreadsheet applications. Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including copy writing, editing, and proofreading with clear and concise communication.
• Computer skills, including word processing, database management, spreadsheets. Graphic design, photography and videography skills a plus.
• Knowledge of current and emerging social media platforms and social media management.
• Proficient in digital and email marketing platforms.
• Interpersonal skills necessary to deal courteously and effectively with a diverse group of members, vendors, community and co-workers.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Flexibility to deal with unexpected events. Required to attend meetings and events that may occur outside of regularly scheduled work hours.
• Ability to exercise judgment, initiative and tact in dealing with the community, members, management and staff.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal and outside stakeholders, and vendors to further the mission
• Knowledge of Credit Union operations, policies and procedures is preferred.
