** Position Overview

We’re looking for a Sr. Manager, AI-Enabled Thought Leadership and Brand Content to bring our brand strategy to life through compelling, insight-driven content. In this role, you’ll execute against Zelis’ brand narrative and positioning, turning research, ideas and expertise into thought leadership that builds awareness and credibility across the market.
You’ll report to our Director, Content Marketing, partnering with subject matter experts and marketing teams to deliver high-quality, “always-on” branded content as well as research-driven thought leadership content. This is a hands-on role for a strong writer and editor who enjoys translating complex healthcare and technology topics into clear, engaging stories — and who’s excited to use AI tools thoughtfully to scale impact.
** THE EXPECTATIONS
**** Bring thought leadership to life
*** Turn primary and secondary research into white papers, reports, articles, blogs and other high-impact content.
* Translate complex healthcare, regulatory, and technology topics into clear, compelling narratives.
* Help elevate Zelis’ voice as a trusted authority in the healthcare ecosystem.
** Execute our brand strategy
*** Create content aligned to Zelis’ brand narrative, messaging framework, and positioning.
* Ensure everything you produce reflects our voice, tone and style — across formats and channels.
* Apply strong editorial judgment to maintain consistency and quality.
** Optimize for discovery and performance
*** Structure content to perform in search and answer engines (including Google AI Overviews and tools like ChatGPT).
* Partner with marketing teams to measure impact and continuously improve content performance.
** Use AI to work smarter
*** Leverage AI tools to support research, drafting, editing, and workflow efficiency.
* Apply human judgment to ensure AI-assisted content is accurate, thoughtful and on-brand.
* Help improve how we scale content production responsibly.
** Collaborate and deliver
*** Work with subject matter experts, internal partners, and external contributors to deliver content on time and at high quality.
* Manage editorial calendars and production workflows to keep work moving smoothly.
** ABOUT YOU
** You’re a confident writer and content leader who enjoys execution and impact. You’re curious, adaptable, and comfortable working within a defined brand strategy while finding creative ways to bring it to life.
** You’ll bring:
*** Exceptional writing and editing skills (you’ll be asked to share samples).
* Experience producing thought leadership or branded content in healthcare, technology or a related field.
* The ability to synthesize research and turn insights into clear, engaging stories.
* Hands-on experience using AI tools to support content creation and workflow efficiency.
* Strong project management skills and comfort juggling multiple priorities.
* A bachelor’s degree plus 8 years of experience, or a master’s degree plus 6 years.
** Nice to have:
*** Healthcare or B2B technology experience.
* Familiarity with SEO and AEO best practices.
